Jordan has helped my kids with hit mechanics, but more importantly, he’s given them more confidence in the box, which helps them hit even better! My boys admire Jordan! That does a mom’s heart good!

Jordan is a super nice and friendly guy that has the ability to get along well and connect with the younger kids, which you don’t always find in adult coaches. Looks and acts the part of a superior athlete (because he is), so the kids are impressed and listen and want to emulate. Very accommodating with setting up times for lessons based on clients work schedules as well. Significantly improved the confidence of my kids especially over the off-season.

His patients with my son I really appreciate it he takes time to go through the detail parts of hitting and fielding. He also talk to him about the mental aspect of the game which is very helpful

    Frequently asked questions

I start with an assessment of my new students as to where they are currently from a hitting standpoint. This includes level of mechanical understanding, plate approach understanding, overall ability, and specific strengths and weaknesses that they currently possess. This is based around age as well. From my first-meeting assessment, I will put together a plan that will streamline them towards strong improvement in their weaker areas along with sharpening their stronger areas as we journey through the process together to help them become a well-rounded hitter.

I played this great game for 20 years collecting All-State honors throughout my career at Atlantic Shores High School as well as becoming the State Player of the Year in my division in 2013. From there, I had the awesome opportunity to play for both West Virginia University and High Point University at the Division 1 level. I played multiple positions in college including 1st base, Outfield, and pitched both in the starter and bullpen roles. I received my pitching training as a young player from Phil Kojack who is the current head coach at Atlantic Shores Christian School. I also received my mental hitting training throughout my career by Alfredo Portela.

I generally charge $50.00 per session. I am open to negotiation if your financial situation calls for it. I am very focused on working with players and have a passion for transferring my knowledge and experience to as many players I possibly can.

Once I finished my playing career, I felt that giving back to the younger community was extremely important coming from an individual who was blessed with as much opportunity that I was during that time. I started with my first student and fell in love with it which motivates me to work with as many people as possible.

I have worked with players of all ages and places within the game. Ranging from 8 yrs old all the way to the college level and in between. I have also worked with softball players.

I have had the opportunity to work with a current Senior Catcher at Atlantic Shores Christian School. I am very excited to say after one year of working with him consistently, he has been contacted by multiple schools getting invites to workouts to potentially receive offers to play in college after having a good Junior year at the plate. we continue to work to this day and look forward to signing his letter of intent at the school of his choice.

Look for a teacher who has been a ballplayer before. Teachers like us have the personal experience and perspective to steer the student in the right direction but also offer the reality check of what it really takes to succeed at the levels that we have been to if that is where the student desires to be.

What is your approach to hitting?

What experience to have in teaching but also playing as a hitter?

What does it take to succeed at a high level at the plate?
