About
I played five years of division, one soccer 2 1/2 years at St. Louis University, where I won two conference championships 2 1/2 years at Unc Charlotte, where I also won to conference championships. I played professional in the MLS next pro league with Charlotte FC. I currently play professional with the Richmond kickers.
A typical soccer training session with me is designed to improve technical ability, speed of play, confidence, and overall game understanding. Every session is tailored to the player’s age, position, skill level, and personal goals. I create an intense but positive environment where players are constantly challenged while still building confidence and enjoying the process.
Each session starts with a dynamic warm-up that includes mobility exercises, stretching, footwork, and light ball work to get the body prepared and activated. From there, we move into technical training focused on first touch, passing, dribbling, ball control, finishing, and quick decision-making. I emphasize training at game speed so players become more comfortable under pressure and can execute skills in real match situations.
I also focus heavily on movement, agility, acceleration, and conditioning to help players improve explosiveness, endurance, and overall athletic performance on the field. Depending on the player’s position, I include position-specific drills and game-like scenarios to improve awareness, positioning, and soccer IQ. Small-sided games and competitive drills are often included to encourage creativity, communication, and confidence in live situations.
Throughout every session, I coach mentality just as much as skill. I push players to stay disciplined, communicate, compete, and maintain a strong work ethic. My goal is for every athlete to leave training sharper technically, stronger mentally, and more prepared to perform confidently during games.
