Classes at Heart of Yoga are tailored for each individual. If you are new to yoga, you will experience a foundation that will prepare you for a lifelong practice. If you are a continuing practitioner, you will find variety and teachings to keep you coming back to your practice. No matter your level of practice, you will learn tools to stretch safely, build strength and reduce stress.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each student is valued and a their presence in class adds dimension to the group. Their needs may be different than the student beside them, so everyone has the opportunity to discuss what is happening in the body and mind if they choose to share and needs are met, options are presented. There is no judgement
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Heart of Yoga instructors are gifted in several aspects of yoga. We teach Gentle, Beginners, Mixed Level and Flow classes. In addition, we are specifically trained to offer Yin yoga, Yoga for Scoliosis, Yoga for people suffering the effects of PTSD and also provide Reiki and Massage services
