About
I thrive on helping students find joy through painting. I enjoy guiding students to explore their creative self while having a fun and rewarding experience. I earned a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Virginia and have done murals and portraits for over 20 years.
I love to help students tap into the creative part of themselves that loves to play and express through paint. Through an explorative process they disciver more about who they are through the joy of creating art.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In a Private Lesson, I focus on challenging your existing skills and taking them to a more advanced level, while introducing you to new techniques, materials and styles in fine art. Your curriculum is customized to build your skills and knowledge of art with your interests in mind. I customize a curriculum or area of focus where you will build confidence, see results and have a fun experience too! I have 2 home studios, one off of Little Neck and 1 by the Bay in Sandbridge. They both have a perfect balance of natural and artificial light. My son is currently attending the Chicago Institute of Art and can also share his knowledge.
