About
I am a leading sumie supplier in North America and international award winner for both calligraphy and painting. My student's painting have been accpeted by the national exhibition after couple weeks of privite classees. I offer best supplies to suite every individual privite class student.
I encourage my students learn something new about art and have fun doing it. This includes the elements and principles of art, techniques (how to), and art appreciation. My students feel comfortable and encouraged practicing self-expression after handling necessary skills and principles. I explore my students’ talents while gaining a new appreciation of art and the role it plays in the world around them and how it relates to the core subjects.
After students are able to handle sumie, I strive to have students that produce work in each class that is unique. I do not want students to be afraid of failure. It is ok to fail, the next attempt may be spectacular. My students are not only prepare themselves for success in classes, but in thier future lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, the most important aspect of the entire process is building a rapport. At this point in time, students have potentially struggled with various topics, so the importance of instilling confidence in them before any tutoring begins is essential to their success.
Nevertheless, prior to scheduling sessions, I like to meet with the student and/ or parent(s). I also review the student past works to catch his/her skills and potentials. We work hand in hand to build their specialized plan of action.
Next, we come up with a set of goals and how to implement the plan of action appropriately in order to accomplish said results. This plan depends on the immediate needs of the student, but many plans include some sort of accommodation to pre and post-session communication in order to track progress.
