Hello!
My name is John Tutora and I am a professional guitarist with 20+ years of experience performing and teaching the art of guitar! I am a Solo Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist and I currently perform all over Issaquah at various venues.
I am currently accepting students of all levels and all ages, from Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced. I am a patient teacher and dedicated to the progress of my students. I create and customize all lesson plans to suit the individual needs of each student. My teaching methods include fundamental music theory, reading sheet music and tablature, strength and speed training, ear training, basic to complex rhythm and lead skills, CAGED theory, stylistic approaches of almost any genre and many other techniques ranging from the very basic to the technically advanced! Of course, I will also help students learn any songs they are wanting to learn how to play from artists they admire, and then give you the tools to improv and understand those progressions further! I even teach vocal training, vocal harmonies and songwriting. I give my students the tools they need to reach their goals and more! And most importantly . . . I make sure my students enjoy what they're playing! It is very important to me that my students truly enjoy their lessons and remain inspired to learn!
