About this pro

I customize programs for each client based on their unique needs and desires, using traditional yoga asanas, pranayama/breathing (Kundalini yoga based "Medical Meditation"), and powerfully healing Divine Play, guided meditations. The sense of compassion for where I was at in my life. When I had injuries or was confused on certain thing. Kat is quick to help and comes from a place of care, with no judgement and great clear instructions. I have a better relationship with food, and bonus! I lost 15 pounds. I have a clear knowing of when my body needs certain stretches and have the tools, learned through the breathwork, to energize or calm myself when needed. It has been life altering and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to work with Kat at Divine Play.

I have been practicing yoga for several years now and can truthfully say Katerina is one of the best yoga instructors I have ever had the pleasure of practicing with. She is kind and patient and detailed and speaks so clearly it’s a joy to attend her class - I look forward to it every day and I also love the way she incorporates her wisdom and knowledge in the way she explains what each pose does for our bodies. I highly recommend Katerina Hardin she is amazing.

Hi, my name is Rand Wasserman, and today I am reviewing The Self-Love Guided Meditation by Katerina Hardin. I have been listening to Guided Meditations in various forms for over thirty years and have listened to some of the best practitioners in the world. When I first heard Katerina’s Self-Love Meditation, I was blown away. Yes, it is that good. Katerina’s beautiful voice is so mellow and relaxing, I listen to it whenever I have trouble falling asleep - and I almost never can stay awake to the end. But, what makes this recording truly special is the content. Katerina speaks such powerful words of love and empowerment to me, that no matter how stressed out, burnt-out, or anxious I might be when I start the recording, I always feel better by the end. Katerina’s amazing voice instantly calms me and helps me to get centered and reconnected to what matters most. You may have not heard of Katerina’s work, but her meditations are so exceptional, I truly believe she ranks up there with the best in the world. For all of the above reasons, Katerina's Self-Love Guided Meditation is one of the most important meditations I own.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Typically, for a private client we will have a phone consultation to acquaint, clarify desires and see if we're a good fit. For Divine Play group classes, an invitation will follow shortly after acceptance.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taught yoga for five years, practiced for ten years, and I trained for a 400 hour yoga certificate focused primarily on Raja Yoga (the yoga of the mind), meditation and Power Vinyasa. Over the years my interests and practice expanded to Kundalini yoga, Medical Meditation and creating customized guided relaxation meditations as well as sleep hypnosis for creating new and beneficial programs of the mind. My specialty is also in pranayayma breathwork.

I have taught yoga privately in person and through Zoom, to large groups, private events, and in grade schools.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

For private one on one sessions, a tailored package is created based on the services and results desired by the student. The scale is between $65 - 180 for class or package.

For group classes (through online zoom and parks), class is $18.

How did you get started teaching?

My love for yoga began in a hot yoga studio and my regular practice had healed my lower back injury.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a variety of students ranging from 3 years olds to 65 year olds.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I made a leap and moved to Kauai in December of 2019. I lived there with my daughter for the last 8 months and it's been an incredible and expansive journey. I am now back in WA to continue teaching and serving the PNW 😊🙏❤.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

We are always at the right place and at the right time.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

The right questions will come at the time they are needed.
