Art is beautiful it takes us anywhere we want to be at any time or place in our lives. Painting has always been my passion ever since I could hold a paintbrush. I taught several classes at local snohomish buisnesses and have worked and calaborated with people from every skill level. I specialize in landscape and abstract art. I have done several portraits as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we must pick 3 colors these will help to shape the mood of the piece. We discuss subject matter prior to the lesson and do a quick sketch together on the canvas. I paint with my students step by step and answer any questions along the way. It can be a structured lesson or very loose and collaborative. I like to even glue pieces of rock or glass to the canvas. I enjoy using plants to paint as well! Painting is meant to be fun, but can also be very spiritual and transformative.
