About

I love stirring up passion in a student for playing the piano. The best feeling in the world is being able to create beautiful music and I want to transfer this feeling to my students.

Im the mom of one of her students. I really love her teaching style. She is super encouraging and my boy loves her! Shes great at interpersonal relationships. After the lessons, she makes sure to catch up on his life and play with him (often when Im late to pick him up lol). They have made huge progress so far and I couldnt recommend a better teacher.

Frequently asked questions

I start out by having my students test out the piano and letting them play by ear. Once a student has become comfortable with the piano keys, I teach them how to read music, how to keep rhythm, how to follow dynamics and the different aspects of a single sheet of music. We will practice fun songs as she/he advances in their skills.

I'm a college student currently and I have taught piano since I was a sophomore in Highschool. I have had 9 years of piano lessons and I also participated in band in highschool as a clarinetist.

I charge $15 for 30 minutes of lessons.

I played the piano for the church band for several years and from there, I was asked by parents at my church to teach their kids piano. I've been teaching since sophomore year in highschool.

I have only worked with preschool and elementary students. I am excellent with young kids! I can work with students with no experience at the piano at all and with any varying type of experience as well.

A student that I'm currently teaching is absolutely dominating the classics. I started teaching her a year ago. She came in with no experience at all and now she is absolutely crushing Chopin, Pachabel, and Mozart. I'm incredibly proud of how much she has progressed.

Hire a teacher who inspires you to learn and makes it fun. It's no good to hire a teacher who is a genius but makes you dread going to piano lessons.

What is your goal for 1 year from now? How much time are you willing to put into practice?
