A Sharp Music Studio

My name is Tony Beaulaurier. I have been a private guitar instructor in the south King County area for over 30 years. I have my bachelors and masters of music degrees from Central Washington University. I have also performed extensively in jazz and rock bands, as well as appearing in orchestras for local productions of major musicals.

Besides focusing on guitar technique, I like to encourage students to develop an understanding of music theory. Note reading is not necessary, but is recommended.

I specialize in jazz, rock and classical (finger style) guitar styles. In addition to guitar, I also teach electric bass and ukulele.

My ultimate goal is to have students enjoy the learning process, and to find their own unique 'voice' on the guitar.
