Sequoia Yoga
About
I began my yoga practive at 13 and it has guided and shaped my life ever since. I enrolled in my first teacher training at 18 and that expansive experience completely shaped my world. I have continued to grow and explore the world of yoga with teachers such as Shiva Rea, and more recently found and fell in love with the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and study under Guru Singh.
Sharing these tools that have impacted my life so greatly.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will provide a questionnaire to see what you would like to address in your practice, and also to get to know you and your body/mind/spirit to analyze what sort of practice your system needs from an ayurvedic perspective. We will have a phone consultation as well before our first lesson, just to make sure you get everything that you are looking for with our time together!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
200 hour YTT with CorePower yoga 2009
30 hour Baptiste hands on assisting training
300 hour YTT with Siva Rea's Samudra Global School of Living Yoga 2012
100 hour Yin YTT with Carina Terra
200 hour Guru Gayatri Kundalini YTT with Guru Singh
What types of students have you worked with?
I love to teach students of all ages and ability levels because yoga truly is for everyone and a practice we should be able to do when we are 100!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try as many out as you can and once you click with one you have found your teacher. You will know. And when it is time for another new teacher you will know as well.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about exactly what you want to feel after a class and what sort of energy would balence you. For instance if you are a professional dancer who trains many hours a day maybe a softer more gentle practice would suit you. If you live a more sedentary lifestyle a more active and dynamic practive would balance you.
