My kids love her. We do Sunday classes with my 2 kids and 4 other kids in the neighborhood. We see weekly improvements in all their skills. She also helped each one of them develop their own unique skills so their art is all very different. Last year she even showcased their art for her annual gallery. Although an online event she made it engaging and fun. The kids felt like real star artists.

She was very patient and knowledgeable. She brought supplies for me to keep per session and allowed me to explore acrylics, watercolor, oil and gouache mediums. She also let me choose art we created together. She’s work along side of me versus teaching at me which I appreciated. I’ve worked with her for 5 months. She helped me make prints for Christmas cards this year.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Finding out what they want to learn is key for me so I can main line my lessons to give them the outcome they are hoping for. Anyone can paint. Just need to know they tools and tips to paint what's in your imagination. You don't know what you don't know.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been making multiple kinds of art since a kid. Working with clay and ceramics along with painting in watercolor, acrylics, oil and gouache. I had a full art scholarship outta of high school. Instead of attending art college I went to UW for pharmacology and took business and art theory.

Depends on what student has and what I need to bring. Along with what student anticipates to learn and achieve in class.
