I offer one on one private lessons as well as (up to 4) in a group.
Everything! I love seeing my students when they succeed, and that's my goal - to see *them* succeed. And...they do! :)

I've been teaching children to adults for several years, and was a Community College Art instructor at Edmonds and Everett colleges, as well as Art Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs, Eastside Division.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
That depends on their level of skill when coming to me. My classes are tailored for each individual student. I take into consideration their wishes as to where *they* wish to take their art education. I've had over 25 years of teaching students and assess their needs and wishes as we go along.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a grad of SDSU and have taught art at two community colleges. I also was Art Director for the Boys & Girls Club for a number of years before retiring to teach private lessons in my studio.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Current rates are $25 for a 2 hour session, plus supplies as needed.
How did you get started teaching?
It just kind of evolved after my stint with the Boys & Girls Clubs.
What types of students have you worked with?
All sorts! Some experienced and wishing to hone their skills, some newbies to painting/drawing wishing to learn from the ground up.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who you feel will bring out YOUR best efforts!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about your goals, and discuss with your teacher what the best way to achieve them would be.
