Picket Fence Art Studio is located on Hollywood Hill in Woodinville, WA, the heart of Washington Wine Country. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment for students of all levels to explore art and grow in their skills. Offering weekly lessons and workshops for artists of all levels along with four art summer camps. We provide small classes and workshops with individual attention and a sense of community in a beautiful art studio nestled away in a colorful garden. Projects include pottery, glass creations, painting, encaustic wax works and everything in between!

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking photographs and painting for as long as I can remember. My interest in photography started as a teenager when I took photographs that were published nationwide by Associated Press. I used the proceeds to purchase the equipment for my first darkroom. My love of photography has only grown over the years.
I have a passion for oil painting in the Russian Post Impressionism Style. I have been fortunate to study under many great artists specializing in this style of painting including Pam Ingalls, Henry Stinson and Cheri Christensen. I have also taken Foundation Drawing Courses at Gage Academy of Art and most recently started exploring painting with Encaustics."
I am the owner of PFA and my daughter manages the studio and teaches classes with me. We are both passionate about art and sharing our love and knowledge of different mediums with others.

We offer weekly classes for teens and elementary students and we have four camps this summer. Classes are $25 a week.
