David Proud’s Footwork Academy

Hello there! My name is David and I am the owner and operator of David Proud's Footwork Academy. I have been coaching for over 15 years, both with teams and individual sessions.

I have played competitive soccer for almost 20 years. I played the majority of my collegiate career at Concordia University in Portland, OR. I have spent significant time with a couple of semi-professional organizations including the Kitsap Pumas and Fresno Fuego.

As for coaching, I started my career as a personal trainer when I was 20 years old. I started coaching teams when I worked as an assistant for my Alma Mater. The next year I picked up a couple of teams and have not looked back since. I have had the luckiest of upbringings in this game with various amazing coaches.

As a player, I was never the fastest player so I had to develop my technique to the highest level. So I try to instill development as my main priority in the individuals I work with. My passion in this sport is almost religious. I have spent so much time on the field inproving myself as a player/coach and loving every minute of it!
