I have several years of experience teaching one-on-one lessons as well as group lessons. I have taught as young as 4-Years-old to 89-Years-old. I am passionate about sharing my talents and gifts with the next generation of artists as well with people who are ready to try something new. I am new to the Seattle area. I attended school at the Kansas City Art Institute.
I love teaching people new forms of painting and drawing. I love seeing the light bulb go off on a new idea!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to start people out on a quick drawing lessons. This shows me where they are at. I always draw and/or paint with my students to help with the intimadation factor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have shown my art in Cincinatti, OH / Kansas City, MO and Omaha, NE. I have over 4 years of experience teaching private one-on-one lessons and I attended the Kansas City Art Institute.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try different teachers out before you commit. It's important to find the right one who speaks your language and understands your goals and aspirations!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what is best for you and what you want to learn. I love hearing what my students want out of lessons. That is why I teach. I teach for the student.
