I love a challenge, and seeing images different then anyone else! Abstract and landscapes are my specialty but recently branching out to wildlife - specifically endangered wildlife, to give a voice to animals going extinct is my passion. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know there strong points and what they enjoy doing for fun and / or work?! See what there background is in art and see what drives them to paint and then take it from there
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying art since I was a child, first with pottery and ceramics then moving to acrylic and watercolor, settling on my love of oil on canvas because of how rich and how forgiving the paint is when it coming to modeling your work into something magnificent.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25 per hour but I am flexible with price the more lessons booked the better the price will be :)
How did you get started teaching?
As I have been an artist over 20 years my clients have always told me to teach. I then started to really take that is heart as I love working one on one with children and adults alike.
