About

My goal is to help people build a better tool box from which they can create exciting dynamic art, and enjoy a wonderful jorney into self discovery through observation, practice, and exprementation.

My studio workshop was located down town portland for 11 years. I now teach at my studio on a 20 acres farm in St helens OR.

I spent two years at the PNCA. studying fine art painting. Then moved to Pasadena California to get a 4 year degree in art (illustration) at Art Center Collage of Design, my Illustration work is visable across the country, I have numerous publications awards,and HOW magazine,plus the society Illustrators. I currently show my fine art in 4 galleries in Portland and surouning areas

I love having the freedom to create from the imagination, as well as drawing from life. making art is an expression and a language we all share, being able to conect with others on a emotional level is very special to me.

    Jeff does a good job of working through how to incorporate and break down colors when trying to compose a painting. I found it to be helpful to talk about tones, hues, and shades when trying to make a simple painting with minimal colors.

    I spend a little time on the phone just to get to know my clients needs and skill leavels, then we decide on a plan of action. I put together a materials list dependind on which field we will be working. we can meet at my studio or I can work at your studio the cost is a little higher if I come to you
