What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For beginners and advanced students I explain my approach to painting. If a student is a beginner I start of with the basics of exploring colors, mixing and tools. Each class builds on the next class, I take advantage of our time at studio making every moment about painting and I demonstrate various tecniques as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training first started independently at home. I did attend as an art student at UWM-Milwaukee for two years. My knowledge and growth as an artist started with commision work which lead to private lessons, establishing Lucy's Art Studio & Gallery where I taught full time. Im also a painting events planner where I offer groups "instructional painting" session. I have done volunteer work abroad related to wall murals. Communitiy Service with Students and many more amazing art projects through out my life.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each lesson is 2 hours, it includes most of the material, Each lesson is $25.00 per Lessons.
2 Hours $50
I also offer free consultations on WhatsApp or messager.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching friends of my children, in my Home Studio. I had enough room to fit 8 students at a time. I also starting an After School arts program for elementary student which opened many doors for me.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I volunteered to host a painting event at The American Embassy for Soldiers, family and Staff members. As an Artist
I shared my passion for art and painting with a well deserve group of people.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Keep trying different teachers until you find someone you can connect with, someone who understands what your goals are and gives you extra time when needed. Private lessons are great but group lessons allow you to learn from your peers.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask about the process they teach.

Do you introduce different types of gels, paints, techniques and style such as abstract, figuretive or sketching.
