Rebecca Briesemeister

Welcome! My name is Rebecca Briesemeister, and I am currently finishing my studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (UWO), where I studied Instrumental Music Education and Violin Performance. These focuses allowed me to learn how to teach others in various ways while growing my skills and knowledge surrounding the violin in particular.

As an educator, I love finding new ways to teach and demonstrate skills. As a performer, the variety of tools and resources I have ensures my success while contributing to the success of those I teach.

While at UWO, I did scholarly research on how to teach string instrument bowings while working to discover new and diverse composers. This research has contributed to the music I share with others and allows my students to learn more about the music that surrounds them worldwide.

After graduating from UWO in May 2024, I will begin attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to pursue a Master's in String Pedagogy and Violin Performance.
