About
I am a former Division I athlete that has spent the past 12 years playing basketball professionally. I've traveled across the world, from China to Jordan putting on exhibition games, raising money for non-profit organizations and schools.
My expansive experience having played basketball at a high level allows me to train kids on what will be necessary to take their game to the next level.
As a 6'6 guard I can teach the fundamentals of dribbling, defending, rebounding, boxing out and shooting. I also focus on strengthening, conditioning, and agility through total body work workout. Using minimum weights. My focus is bodyweight workout and interval training.
I can create tailor made skill work programs that meet each individuals where they're at and help them build and continue improving whether it's agility/endurance, passing, mental toughness or consistency
Due to Covid-19 all of my sessions are held outdoors on a blacktop in Mt Pleasant. I am willing to travel if you have a location that is more suitable. All my sessions I wear a mask however the student is not required to.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to sit down with students to see what they're overall goal is while working with me.
determine what areas they excel in and what areas they need to improve
Have some additional testing, check out how they dribble, their shooting form and create a tailored program from there
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Division I athlete so I know first hand the work that's required to get to that level
Ive played professionally since 2011 with the Harlem Wizards, I've conducted camps for kids and have created workouts for college athletes, so I have an idea of what's necessary to becoming an all around solid basketball player.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching while playing with the World Famous Harlem Wizards. I've always had an affinity for kids. I lead our Wiz Kid segment during our pre-game activities each event. Parents would ask me after games if I'd be willing to train their kids and at the time my schedule wouldn't allow for it.
I'm now able to train kids on a consistent basis and look forward to helping kids reach their full potential as athletes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with kids ages 5-17 and young adults in college ages 19-22 from beginner level to more advanced
