We are a high quality portrait studio that does traditional portraiture work, and also fashion, glamour, commercial, headshots, conceptual, and also boudoir.
We work in a fully featured studio and have decades of experience. We believe that knowing lighting is the key to being a good photographer.
We offer one on one tutoriing and occasionally will accept an intern into our studio.
I enjoy seeing people learn and grow in there own photography.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first evaluate the current knowledge level of the student. Based upon that, we create a custom plan to teach core principals in photography and lighting. We do one on one, with lecture and hands on. We will then assign a project to the student to show knowledge of the material just taught.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My instruction come from college, owning your own studio, and learning from some of the world class "greats" of photography. I have been blessed to learn from many of the big names in photography.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As each student needs a differant amount and style of instruction, there is no set pricing. As teaching photography is a passion, we do set our pricing so it is affordable to anyone who shows they are very passionate about it.
How did you get started teaching?
Thirty years ago your local camera store had to offer more than just sell a camera. This was to try to fight back the big box electronics stores that were just getting popular.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with mostly college students who are also in college for photography. Some have stated they learned more from a day with our studio then an entire semester in college. We are open to all backgrounds however.

When a previous student lands her dream job as a fashion photographer for a large clothing retailer.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at all your options. Ask questions and then find a program or mentor that fits your desired goals.
