Bonjour! I teach French elementary and high school level French & have a degree in French from Skidmore College, NY (1978) and teaching certificates in French and English from Penn State. Throughout the past eight years since moving to Indiana, I have tutored French to children and adults alike with Varsity tutors and Ecole française both on Zoom and in person at Zionsville schools in Indiana. What I love about my work is my use of humor and song to teach music in the language of French, and to tell stories about the French culture. I use a variety of visual and auditory messages to hold the attention of the student....

I teach conversational English to ESL learners. I'm a very patient teacher and can focus on the specific needs and skills you desire—vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, etc. If you have an ESL book from a class, it's OK with me to keep using it. I have some ESL books that we can work with, too. I speak basic Spanish, French, and Russian. If you speak in your native language to me, you must speak slowly so I can understand.
