I am a licensed music educator in Ohio, where I have taught music for now 6 years! I am currently a middle school band teacher so I have lots of great tips and tricks for beginner students as well as more advanced advice for students looking for a challenge on just about every instrument.

Starting piano lessons as an older adult is much more difficult than when you are young and kind of scary. But I was at ease with Betty immediately. She is a wonderful person and I can't even imagine a better teacher. She is such a talented pianist herself & a very patient teacher. I also loved how she talked about music history & the great classical artists. It is easy to see how much she loves what she does. She really cares about her students and will go the extra mile to help them learn. I had to move out of state or I would still be her student. She's the best!
