I have always loved art and teaching. I teach several different mediums. I am patient, encouraging and knowledgeable. I enjoy the amazement when a student realizes what they can actually do with a little guidance.

I am currently teaching photography at the High School level and can teach a variety of specilizations from sports to portraits, weddings to corporate and a variety of other concentrations. Watching a student hold a printed image for the first time. Digital images on a screen cannot compare.

We are a full service studio. I have taught photography at Columbus State Community College and photography classes for the Professional Photographers of America and also for my meetup.com group. I have the Master of Photography award from PPO and also Certified Professional Photographer of Ohio award.

Jay DiMasso has been teaching Photoshop, photography and design since 1999. I have a Masters degree in education with a focus of fine arts in multiple intelligence and a bachelors degree in business and computer education and I am an adjunct professor at a local community college for photo & Photoshop. I have over 30 years of experience as a professional photographer and over 15 years with photoshop and 10+ years with lightroom. I have a complete photography and print studio located in Powell and love to teach and share my experience and knowledge.

One hour of service will prepare you to develop various skills in art including but not limited to drawing, painting, layering. I enjoy the learning process with everyone of my students knowledge makes me become a better teacher and I gain an even better way to develop a plan to teach even more students how to look into detail and commit it to a drawing, paining or mix media.

12 years of graphic design, drawing, illustration experience. I have two publications in children’s books. I love teaching.
