Coach Craig Lehman enters his fourth year as Pleasant Grove head baseball coach and has compiled over fifteen years coaching experience. In this time he has won two area championships and been runner up five times in. He has made the AHSAA playoffs the last seven consecutive years and has moved several players to the next level. Prior to becoming Pleasant Grove coach, Lehman spent nine years as the head coach of Shades Valley High School. Coach Lehman also served as an assistant coach for Davidson, Baldwin County and Dothan High schools . Coach Lehman has served as a three year Ambassador to the American Baseball Coaches Association as well as coaching for the East Coast Sox travel baseball Organizations Fall wood bat league in 2019 and gives private lessons.

As a player Lehman prepped at Davidson High School In Mobile Alabama. He received baseball scholarships for Bishop State Community College and finished his collegiate baseball playing career at Spring Hill College. Lehman finished his playing career while never hitting under 300 in both high school and college. Coach Lehman holds a bachelor’s degree in education and history and is currently pursuing a masters in Administration. He was born in Tampa Florida but grew up in Mobile Alabama and currently resides in Springville, Alabama. He and his wife Ashley have been married for twelve years and have three children. Brandt (6) and twin daughters Bailey and Brooke (3). In his spare time, Coach Lehman loves watching live baseball games and spending time with his family. His favorite food is steak and his favorite team is the Yankees. Coach Lehman is looking forward to leading the Spartans to Compete on the field this year.
