I am a college baseball player who has a year of experience in college ball at lawson and am going to be playing at talladega college next year, I am obsessed with hitting everyday I hit and love to teach young aspiring baseball players everything I know. I am passionate about baseball and also school which I will always encourage to be put first over baseball. I grew up playing high level travel ball and have worked on a daily baseball with MLB scouts and MLB hitting coaches to improve my game. I am the type of player who wasnt naturally gifted but I worked hard to get to the level I am currently at. I would love to work with your son or dau

Faith and fundamentals to prepare you for the next chapter. The game is more complicated than most people realize. We’ll break it down, keep it simple, and last year’s coach won’t recognize you.

Lessons are broken down to fit the 101 standards to start with then eventually driven up to the players current level and for future needs. Take lessons from a baseball coach of 8 years with multiple division 1 baseball players on his resume after playing for two D1 schools himself. Drills will be broken down and every single point driven across to the player in a way he/she can understand and master before moving on. The game of baseball is and always will be my first love and being able to share that and coach it is an amazing feeling. Being able to watch a player compete and drive himself to get better is a feeling like no other. Watch

Your Baseball Training questions, answered

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Lessons.com.

How much do private baseball lessons cost?

Private baseball lessons cost $50 to $75 per 30-minute lesson and $80 to $140 per 1-hour lesson. The price depends on your location, the instructor's experience and reputation, the student's age, and whether the lesson includes extras like a video analysis of the player's performance.

Many coaches offer lower prices per lesson if you purchase a package that includes 6 or 10 lessons. The average package prices are:

  • 6 pack of 30-minute lessons: $270 – $420
  • 6 pack of 1-hour lessons: $450 – $720
  • 10 pack of 30-minute lessons: $400 – $600
  • 10 pack of 1-hour lessons: $700 – $1,100

Are private baseball lessons worth it?

Private baseball lessons may be worth it if your child currently plays the sport, loves it, and has expressed an interest in improving their skills and performance. Private lessons can help your child advance their skills, develop good habits, and avoid forming bad habits.

Motivation and a drive to improve are key factors in whether or not the lessons will actually help your child. It's important for your child to practice in between private lessons.

Children who receive private baseball lessons are usually more likely to advance to playing at higher levels than children who only receive group coaching during regular team practice. However private lessons don't guarantee your child will play collegiate or professional baseball.

What is the difference between private and semi-private baseball lessons?

In a private baseball lesson, the athlete trains one-on-one with an instructor who tailors the lesson specifically to their needs and skill level. In a semi-private lesson, two athletes work together with one instructor. Semi-private lessons, also called partner lessons, typically cost 10% to 20% less than private lessons. However, because the trainer's attention is divided between the two athletes, the athletes don't get the same level of individualized instruction as they would in a private lesson.

What age should you start pitching lessons?

Baseball instructors generally recommend that children start pitching lessons at around 8 to 12 years old, though there are no age requirements or exact rules. Learning fundamental pitching skills early on can help your child avoid developing bad habits that will be difficult for them to break later.

However, your child should not start taking pitching lessons until they are comfortable throwing the ball as well as catching the ball one-handed.
