About
I have spent my last 5 years playing collegiate baseball. I graduated at Chelsea high school then went on to play at Snead State Community College, the University of South Alabama, and the University of Montevallo. I also coached a summer ball team with Central Alabama Baseball Association where we have competed in perfect game tournaments and many of exposure type tournaments. Over these years of coaching and playing I have learned so much about the game I wish I would of known before, and developed a strong love and passion for the game. I want to continue to spread this knowledge and love for the game to the youth. With these years of experience I am able to pin point and breakdown certain mechanics a player is struggling with or doing wrong. A lot of the time these coaches or trainers try to make things so difficult it just ends up confusing the kids when really it's just a simple adjustment. I would love to have the opportunity to work with and improve these young players.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know the person first. Start of by having a laugh or two to get rid of the nerves, because when I was in that situation I was nervous so I know how it feels. I'd let him hit or if it's pitching throw a good bit before I said anything so I can get to see what the swing is like or the mechanics in pitching are like. I would never make any huge adjustments the first day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played collegiate baseball all across the state and nation. Have played against and with some of the top names in baseball.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a set pricing rate I normally just charge $45 an hour or so.... Can negotiate if needed
How did you get started teaching?
By just playing the game. I ended up loving it and wanted to show others about it and try to improve their skills so one day they will have the opportunity to play college ball.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids from the age of 6 all the way to 18
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last week was my last game of baseball and although it was emotional it also had good in it with me moving on to the next chapter of my life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure he is not in it just for the money and actually knows what he is talking about not just saying the same things everyday not seeing any improvement
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think back and ask yourself is it really a need or is it just a want. To be successful in this sport it can't be just a want it HAS to be a need.
