About this pro

Our training and development process is powered through high intensity drills that translate into on court performance by building every player from the court backwards. At EBTA, we are all basketball people so our approach to development is through the eyes of a basketball coach and/or basketball trainer. We don’t simply teach moves; we also teach why each move, drill or skill is effective to help all of our players gain a deeper level of understanding for the game.

I love the fact that I get to help people learn the game of basketball that has given so much to me. While doing that, I also get a chance to instill some characteristics that will help them far beyond their playing career.

All new clients must complete a Player Evaluation session before being placed in our program. This gives us an opportunity to see his/her current strengths and weaknesses and how to prepare their program to accomplish whatever goals they have set for themselves.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Certified Trainer thru Vertimax, Drew Hanlen Basketball Academy, Micah Lancaster’s I’m Possible Training, IMPACT Basketball and USA Basketball.

How did you get started teaching?

i started working with my son after seeing the gap in skill level between when i grew up and today’s generation.

What types of students have you worked with?

ive worked with kids from 4th grade up to current NBA/WNBA players.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Do your research and ask questions. There are a lot of trainers but everyone does not have a plan to develop you.
