I have been a full-time piano teacher for 40 years. I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to share the gift of music with so many people. I have played professionally, taught music in an elementary school, and in 1973 stated my own School of Piano. I teach classical piano, theory and ccomposition. Noelle recently graduated from University of Auckland majoring in Classical Performance (and Psychology), under the guidance of Rae de Lisle. She is originally from Japan, where she began taking piano lessons at age four from Mayumi Iwasaki, a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts. Here in Japan, she had successfully competed in one of the biggest regional competitions, where she obtained second place.
