My private lesson teaching has been contiuous for over 20 years now. Integrated with the traditional styles is a foundation in music theory, the key to the kingdom for ear playing and composition.

Music Makers Piano Studio provides piano lessons that foster a love of music, helping each student develop to their fullest potential and achieve their personal music goals. Private piano lessons are offered to students of all ages. These lessons are tailored to each student’s age and level of experience. All students will be taught the principles of musicianship, music theory, ear training, music history, and performance skills.

I am a classically trained Opera singer. I have been teaching for 20 years. My students have come from all backgrounds of musical genres and all ages. My specialty is helping students develop good singing habits and become comfortable performing in the style they prefer. I encourage the student to bring in their choice of music as well as offering music in which I am familiar to teach them proper technique but not force them into a certain singing style. I love to help my students learn how to use their voices and develop confidence in singing what makes them happy....
