Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depends on the clients needs and position each session is an hour long unless stated other-wise by myself. Here are some examples I focus on and different types of sessions;
Every athlete learns at different speeds, some drills my be easier for one athlete and harder for another to master. That's why 1 on 1 instruction is so important to focus on that individuals needs and to set up a customized game plan to help that player reach their highest potential in their specific position(s). Sessions typically run for about an hour or a little over.
Speed development and enhancement is a careful balance and combination of strength training, sport training, skill training, and speed training. Limitations in any of these areas can hinder the athlete's ability to improve their speed. Example leg and core strength are essential for speed. The goal, focus, and direction are to enhance each individual's speed, quickness, agility, and body control relative to position they play. Linear speed is important, but the ability to change direction is quite possibly more important than flat out speed. Here we will improve individual's running technique, speed, acceleration, agility, first step quickness, balance, flexibility, coordination, power, drive, explosive starts and reaction to game stimulus.
Develop an objective based goal program with specific conditioning programs for the athlete. Strength and Conditioning Programs are designed to; increase work capacity in all aspects of physical training, strength and power, speed and agility, physical endurance and functional flexibility. Develop a work ethic in terms of physical preparation and recognized as a leader in the field

Then I went to graduate school in Samford University in Birmingham Alabama a D1 AA football program, where I did one on one and group training sessions on the field and in the weight room for several for there skilled position players. I have been back in the Phoenix area the last 7 years and have continued developing boys into men on and off the field. I specialize in QBs, but do train WR, RB, FS, SS, CB . Have many clients at High Schools and Pop Warner on the east valley.
I helped coach a small school called Benson HS for two year. In those two years I coached QBs/WR/DB/S and ended up with an record for 23-4. Were the state runner ups and losing the semifinals. Was over 60 years when Benson HS last played in a championship game.
Currently help coach QBs at Chandler HS.

Depends on many factors but ranges $55-70 an hour for 1 on 1 training unless have to drive more than a 20 minute to get to our training location could be a little more. Price is lower for group sessions (less than 6 kids) and even lower for team sessions (10 plus kids)
