About
Hello and welcome!
If you are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated yoga instructor or life coach, then you are in the right place! My passion is connecting with and inspiring individuals to take charge of their health and wellness through yoga, self-care, and a little humor.
My passion for teaching started a young age when I would “teach school” to my peers on the playground. For me, teaching isn’t just about sharing knowledge. It is about inspiring others to connect with the content and to continue learning and growing in their own way. Seeing someone’s eyes light up when they “get it” makes my whole day!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching is an individualized process. The first step is to assess the student’s current ability level including skill set as well as current or past injuries. The second step is to determine where the student would like to take their practice. I will create and tailor a program which will help the student meet their goals whether it be improved flexibility, a quieter mind, or an advanced pose. This is done through an initial phone or in person consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years and in April 2017, I realized my dream of getting my yoga certification. I currently hold my RYT-200 hour and am a registered member of Yoga Alliance. In addition to yoga, I am an accomplished runner and triathlete having completed many races ranging in distance from the 5K to the marathon, as well as multiple distances of the triathlon.
I began my teaching career in a traditional setting. I have taught elementary, junior high, as well as adult education. After many years, I started to branch out into mentoring, coaching, and eventually found my way to yoga teacher training this past spring.
I understand how to break down a large goal into smaller chunks so it is more manageable and attainable. Let me help you realize your own unique potential.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private Client Sessions begin at $50.00 per hour. Packages can be created and tailored to meet an individual's needs.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught yoga to all ages with varying abilities in different settings. I have experience teaching an introduction to yoga class, vinyasa flow, and yoga with a chair.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Embrace the journey. Yoga is a practice which means consistently showing up on your mat whether it be for a 10 minute meditation or an hour long vinyasa flow. As with anything in life, some days your practice will feel amazing, and other days, it won't. Yoga is about being perfectly imperfect and being okay with the in-between.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are you looking for in an instructor? Firm, nurturing, or both?
What is your outcome or goal? Flexibility, stretching, strength, weight loss?
How much time are you willing to commit to your practice? Are you willing to practice on your own?
Are you injured? If so, you must share with your instructor so he/she can adjust your program accordingly.
