I have won blue ribbons at the Arizona State Fair for my machine sewn garments and quilting.
I was the Judge for Maricopa County Fair one year for machine made garments
Former Home Economics teacher in Phoenix Elementary School District #1.

I enjoy making some of my own clothing, making things for my home, making things for my children and grandchildren (and doing repairs for them as needed too). I made a costume for a performance by my church children’s group. I taught my granddaughter how to thread top/bottom of sewing machine and how to use it when she was 8. I have make quite a few quilts, one is a Quilt Of Valor awaiting presentation to a high school classmate of mine that served in USArmy in Vietnam.
