About
I specialize in the beginner bowler but have also extensive work with bowlers up to the semi pro levels......with believe it or not ages between 5 and all the way up to a 94 year old man I used to work with.... He taught ME that you are never too old to learn. :)
Seeing a transformation of a bowler in just a lesson or two is a gift to me. Its the best part of teaching is seeing someone who cannot believe how much better they are getting at the sport! Its a sport for a lifetime too like Tennis or Golf.

He knows how to teach on any level. Im new to bowling and he was able to explain things to me so I understood the logic behind what he was having me do (i.e., stand a certain way, count, follow through, etc.)

David was on time....connected with me to confirm our appointment...
He is a very pleasant...polite...and very funny man.... I have been bowling for 20 years....and not getting any better.... David took videos and showed me what I was doing incorrectly....and what I needed to do to correct the problem.... Took a few practice sessions.....and all of his tips did make a significant difference....

I was a darn good bowler, just six months ago. I was averaging about 220. The highest I bowled was a 298.
I fell away from bowling. Im not sure why I did, but I started going again a few weeks. Right away, I could tell something was wrong. I went from my strong average to about a 140 average. I couldnt find the pocket to save my life. My spares were still good, but could not buy a strike. After all the adjusting I thought I knew how to do, it just wasnt happening. Online lesson videos werent working. So, I searched bowling lessons near me, and it brought me to Lessons.com, and consequently, David Leverage.
Davids down to Earth and explains things in a matter of fact manner. He breaks the aura of lane intimidation. Its easy to tell he truly enjoys helping people fix their game. Ive never had a formal lesson in bowling, and with his help in an hour or so, I couldnt miss the pocket. David straightened out my clumsy balance, restored my approach and tweaked my timing. At the end, I bowled five strikes in a row. I was crushing it, and it was in no short part because of Davids patient, practical and crucial, fundamental attitude toward teaching.
Thank you, David! Anyone reading this, beginner to advanced, should book a lesson with him. Highly, highly recommend.

David is very professional and tailors his lessons to meet the individual needs of his students. My boyfriend and I started taking lessons together and were very happy with the pacing of the lessons, Davids approach to each of our particular styles, and the friendly and competent way in which he teaches. Our averages improved after just one lesson, and we continue to go back because we truly enjoy the experience. Highly recommended!
