Hey I'm Cheyenne :) I'm 25 and have been sewing for 7 years. I learned sewing by self teaching then through school for fashion design. I have a business sewing mostly bags and wallets. I'm a rep for many custom fabric business sewing clothes and advertising for them. I've worked at joann's for the past 4 years and used to be an instructor there. I'm happy to meet and help all the people wanting to learn this craft.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First it's finding out what level they are at. Is this a completely new student or someone who has more experience. Talking to the student and finding out their needs so I can better tailor their learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for fashion design at Mt. SAC. I have been sewing for 7+ years. I have experience is sewing clothing, bags, wallets and in cosplay.
How did you get started teaching?
I started by helping my classmates in college and then being a Creative Coordinator at Joann and the cricut instructor
What types of students have you worked with?
All types! I'm happy to help anyone and be an inclusive instructor
