I have been passionate about helping others since a very young age my parents were big humanitarians that exposed me to missions globally .

learning to have compassion and having curiosity about neuroscience is what triggered my interest in my first yoga retreat at the age of 18 in the city of Chicago where I earned my first certification in hatha yoga 200hrs . At 22 I moved to Barcelona where I got certified again in hatha for 300hrs . At 24 I became certified in tantric yoga 200hrs. What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Getting to know my student

reasons to start yoga,

physical needs and medical history,

educating about specific techniques to give them self confidence about their practice .

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 1,100 hrs of teachers training, 20 yrs of personal practice and 10 yrs of teaching individually and groups, up to 40.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

lessons at the studio are $15 per class or $130 for 10 sessions (15% discount) and unlimited for $100 with auto debit.

rsvp is important for studio as it’s only 20 slots available.

How did you get started teaching?

I signed up for my first yoga retreat in Chicago at the age of 18.

What types of students have you worked with?

ages 5-50yrs . Make and females, addicts and alcoholics, begginers and intermediate. Known names. Pregnancy.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

ahimsa festival and guru amma retreat.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

as an instructor, I like to always keep learning and I like to have my own practice guided as well sometimes. But I have to be guided by an instructor who shows the care for my practice by adjusting and correcting me. And only an instructor who has the passion for the healing purpose will do that .

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

If there’s any medical issues they should share any concerns so they can do variations of poses that may not be suited for their physical pains or other discomforts.
