Good morning! I am Andrew Cortez fine artist and instructor in Orange County. My devotion to art has brought me into the great position of instructor where I can help guide enthusiasts, beginners, and advanced artists through their artistic journey. Over my years of teaching I have developed a personalized curriculum to suit every level and age, with the ability to adapt to each student’s educational needs. My goal is to help you reach your goal by showing you the tools and techniques for you to do it.
My background is in traditional drawing and painting with a minor in animation/digital art. As an instructor of 8 years, I have a range of arts to offer: Drawing Fundamentals, Advanced Drawing, Introduction to Oil Painting, Advanced Oil Painting, Plein Air Painting, Portraiture Drawing & Painting, Intro to Digital Animation (Traditional Optional), Digital Painting, Gouache Painting, Acrylic Painting, and Portfolio Prep.
