My favorite part of being a teacher/coach is to see the progression in skill of my students. Being able to see it al from the beginning to where they are now is the best feeling.

Frequently asked questions

The first private lesson should explain and define the goals for the student and making a rough schedule to achieve those goals in a likely manner.

I trained in recreational gymnastics for 4 years at Airbourne Gymnastics in Northern California and was a competitive gymnast for 4 years at my high school. I've been coaching recreational and team gymnastics for 7 years and won Best Team of the Season this Spring. I've instructed, Parent and Me, Toddlers, Juniors (5-6 year old), Academy (7-17), Tumbling, and Gym Team. I'm a Jiu Jitsu competitor (blue belt) sponsored by Elite Sports Company and training out of 10th Planet Orange County and Downtown LA and Team Oyama in Irvine for past 3 years. I cross train in Muay Thai, Gymnastics, Yoga, Strength and Conditioning to build my Jiu Jitsu game.

My going rate is dollar per minute but I provide packages for students who are willing to commit consistent classes.

I started coaching my old gymnastics team after I graduated, and then coached recreational gymnastics at a local gym in Northern California and stuck to coaching since then. I've volunteered my free time to help out hte kids classes at 10th Planet and Systems Training Center.

Majority of my students range from 18 months to 17 years old, but I've worked with adults. Whether its basic fundamentals of gymnastics or Jiu Jitsu or helping a teammate with strikes, I can teach it all.

Some of my students who is 5 was struggling with a cartwheel and was a having a hard time landing it. I was being firm about the technique in order for them to be consistent in landing the cartwheel. The next week, this student came and gave me a card of her classmate doing a cartwheel, and saying, " Thank you for helping me with my gymnastics." I thought it was the sweetest card I've received in awhile.

The student needs to find a teacher that they can respect because their teacher will push them to achieve their goals. By having that respect the student can trust the teacher/coach technique.

The student needs to understand their goals in order for the teacher to guide them. The student also needs to understand that anything good in life will take time and need to be patient with their results and trust their teacher/coach.
