About
After graduating Magna Cum Lade from UMass Boston with an Art Major film concentration Theatre minor, Edward Nyahay ventured out west and became Zalman King’s Production Office Manager. He became SAG in 1997 and has acted in multiple films/TV shows and Theater. He studied ion camera acting under Hollywood notes coaches, Bobbie Shaw Chance and Richard Brander...and spent three years studying voice under Kelle Rhoads (Randy Rhoads Brother). He has taught over 2000 students (14 years) all aspects of film production including on camera acting. He has directed MAKIN’ IT and THE HOUSE OF DRACULA at Crespi Carmelite High School, and has five feature films under his belt. How did you get started teaching?
After working for Zalman King and taking many years of acting lessons, my parents who are both educators taught me how to write a curriculum and I started the number one high school film program all across the country (FL, NY, CA).

All types from no experience to high end Industry Professionals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Getting international distribution for my film. Directing a 55k budget play, producing over 2000 videos on line. Getting my novel, WINGS OF FLESH, published. Producing 11 albums where I wrote lyrics, produced vocals and mix.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Meet with an instructor, see if you get along and if you can see your craft growing under their direction.
