About

I have coached high school football for eight years, plus a year of Jr. College, and ten plays years of youth. I played football most to lay life starting in Pop-warner, through high school, and college. I also had attempts at playing professionally. I have experience in coaching various positions, and have played various positions through out my career.

What I enjoy about coaching, or teaching is the interaction with the students. Knowing that I am offering something that could be potentially life changing. Teaching them that sports is something that can be applied to every day life not just the field.

    Frequently asked questions

My typical process in working with a new is first to evaluate the student. Evalutation means more than just running through drills, it talking to the student, figuring out exactly what they want to learn, and where there head is about training. Also, testing their skill level, seeing exactly where they are skills wise in comparison to the position they want to train for. Ending the evaluation with where I think we should start the training at, adn making sure we are all on the same page when it comes to the training.

I have played, or coached most positions on a football field. My education, or training comes from my experience and background. Having played College and training to play in the pros, I have gained valuable experience that I love to share. Most ex-players have never coached, and with my background coaching at an elite high school level, and at the Jr. College level, I feel I have the experience needed to conduct quality training sessions.

I currently do not have a standard pricing system. I like to stick to a flat rate, but this may vary depending on the needs of training, i.e. distance needed to travel, or any special needs that may be required for training.

I got starting in teaching through being given the opportunity to coach high school football, and an elite high school in the San Fernando Valley. I realized that I am good at teaching, and mentoring, and that I enjoying helping students reach their goals, and full potential.

I have worked with students a that are not very athletically inclined. Students that have went on to play in the NFL, and students that have had all the potential, but just did not make it in the end.

Any advice I could give a student looking for a football instructor, is to evaluate the instructor, just like the instructor is evaluating you. Not all teachers that played the game, can coach the game. Also, most teachers may only have experience with one, or two positions, so make sure the instructor actually has know on how to teach the position you are looking to excel in.

Questions students should be asking themselves, and possible asking the instructor, is one what is our experience. Two, how much knowledge does the instructor have in the position you are looking to train in, three do you vibe with the instructor, because chemistry is a big part on a successful training session. Lastly, Do you feel like this instructor can actually help in getting you to where you want to be.
