Holly Cleeland Art
About
I've been an Artist my whole life. Starting with the yearbook covers in middle school and High School. I learned Pictoral Advertising (painting in oils) at the Foster and Klieser Billboard Company. I painted Back drops and Billboards for the movie industry before creating my own line of Holiday Characters that people collect through out the year for their yards. My Lawn Cheers have sold Nationwide for years through mail order Catalogs and now Etsy.com.
I am also an Author. I have created prize winning costumes out of household items. I have been on tons of TV shows showing how to create fun ideas. Let's have fun creating. My Instagram is @CleelandHolly I can bring out the creativity in you.

Find out where they are at and what they want to learn what to do. It could be a simple as a two hour acrylic painting to beginning pencil drawing.

My teachers have always told me I have natural talent. I ve been creating since childhood. Studied with Teachers that worked with Norman Rockwell. Mario Ruiz was one of the greats at Foster and Klieser. Classes at Art Center, Pasadena.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have a $100 minimum no matter what I do. It's not worth leaving the house for less. Once I'm there and we figure out what the goal is we can talk about price.
How did you get started teaching?
When my book came out and I was asked to do Television segments.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with two to adults. I love little kids their minds are so creative and open. We all are really kids at heart.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Look for someone that likes to have fun.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
That you don't start as a PRO. You learn with everything you do. Stick with it.
