About

I have been teaching tennis for 25 years. All my students like the fact that I am very patient, dedicated and love teaching tennis. I teach people from all ages and levels. I am USPTA certified. I have coached at the high school and college level.

I love tennis and the fact that I get to help others learn this wonderful sport is incredible. Not that many people get to do something they like for living but I do. I do my job with respect and honesty. When I see someone that just started learning how to play tennis keep improving with each lesson, it makes me feel so proud and happy.

    Frequently asked questions

If they have play tennis before, I ask them questions about their expericence and goals. I also like to watch them hit so I can assess for myself their level and things that they might need to work on. I break each skill down to make it easier for students to understand.

    I am USPTA certified

I started as a volunteer coach. After that I started coaching at the high school level. I was on the coaching staff of the Junior College Women's Team that won the State Championship in 2015. I have been teaching tennis classes and private lessons at the Burbank Tennis Center since 2007.

I have worked with all types of students: recreational players and competitive players. All levesl from beginners to advanced. Junior players, High School players, and College players. All age groups, as young as 3 years old to students over 80.

Teachers as players have different styles: if you find someone that you like right away, keep him. If not, try different teachers until you find some one that you like. My students like me because I am patient, I tell them in a nice way when they make a mistake, and I compliment them when they do something correct. I am honest, I treat them with respect and I am very responsible.

What their short and long term goals are? Are they leaning tennis as a social activity or do they want to compete at school or tennis leagues?
