We are a full-service recording studio specializing in live in the studio recording. We run Protools and own lots of studio gear and instruments including several drum kits and guitars. We have a Kawaii baby grand, vintage Wurly and Rhodes pianos as well as a Hammond organd and a Leslie speaker.
Our mics include Neumann, Pearlman and other world class mics. We have a set of vintage Urei-813s from the 1970s, KRKs, Yamaha NS10s and Mackie HR824s.
Owner Paul Horabin studied recording and production in college. He moved from England to the USA in 2002 to intern at Capitol Records Recording Studio. He opened ReadyMix in 2007 with his wife, singer-songwriter Sarah Taylor. Paul loves his work and enjoys teaching other budding engineers.
