About
My service stands out because I take an interest in my clients and I always go above and beyond for them. Also, even though I grew up in the fitness industry, it wasn't always something that came easy to me, and still doesn't. I am relatable on a level that not all trainers are relatable on. I make sure to listen to my clients and really make sure I understand all their needs and wants. I am always making sure that I am learning and I am able to work with a wide variety of clients. I have worked with clients aged 16 - 96 years old. I have worked with clients who have suffered from strokes, heart attacks, joint replacement surgeries, epilepsy, high blood pressure, etc.
I 100% love my job. I love making a difference in someone's life. I love helping them achieve their goals. The best part of my job, is when people see the outcomes of all the hard work they are doing in the little things in life. For instance, I have a client who is a golfer and they were very excited to tell me that they were able to squat down and line up their shot instead of having to kneel in the wet grass. And another client (who is over 430lbs and uses a scooter to get around 95%of the time) was excited to tell me that they slipped in the shower, but they were able to catch themselves and stand back up because of the strength they gained in their legs while working with me. It's small victories like that that make this job amazing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first talk to or meet with a client, I like to get background information. I like to know daily living routines, eating habits, sleeping habits, self care habits, etc. I like to discuss the clients goals and if they have time lines they want to hit, i.e. training for a race or getting fit for a wedding. I also like to get a history on any health issues or injuries they might have. I will take the clients measurements and have the client demonstrate some moves.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in the fitness industry. My mom is a personal trainer and has been for over 25 years. I used to do workouts with her and when she would practice for classes she would teach, she would practice with me as the client. I also have my personal training certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and have been certified since 2016. Before officially becoming certified as a personal trainer, I became certified in several group fitness classes in 2012: spin, TRX, Zumba, and Bootcamp. I have been working with clients for the last 10 years.
