I love teaching kids how to swim! I have been teaching lessons for 7 years now! Swimming is a life skill that lasts forever and I love being part of the process. Watching the progression happen is so thrilling for both me and my students!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to work with new students. I have experience with toddlers, kids, teens, and adults. I can handle brand new swimmers as well as swimmers looking to imporve their stoke and technique. Contact me and let's see what we can do together!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified as a swim coach through American Red Cross. I have taught swim lessons and camps for the past 7 years!

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at my community pool because I grew up swimming and surfing and fell in love with being in the water! There is truly nothing like it!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with toddlers, kids, teens, and even adults. There is no one I can't handle. All experience levels welcome!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love all things including sun and water. I think the happiest place for me is surfing in water that is warm enough to not wear a wetsuit!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire a teacher that has experience! Learning how to teach swim comes with trial and error of teaching many students with different abilities (or lack thereof ;))
