About
When I was told by my surgeon who fixed my torn knee that I would never dance again; and some of the agents professed that I was not "Los Angeles market", I embarked on my personal journey to turn my dreams into reality by relying only on my skills, my vision, and my creative community.
In 2016, I received my BFA in Dance Major (Anatomy Kinesiology)/Theater Minor from California State University of Long Beach. After 9 years of researching multiple dance, movement and voice disciplines; becoming an ACE certified personal trainer; teaching dance, and working on many theater and film projects inspired me to develop my personal acting and coaching approach.
I simply call it the eclectic method.
Since every person is unique and has his/her specific needs and goals, I utilize all of my personal, professional, and educational experiences to help people to find and express their creative voice. Mostly, I incorporates ideas of Stanislavsky Method, Interpretive and Partner Dance, Creative Movement, Traditional Fitness, Qigong;and Arthur Lessac's Kinesensic Approach to Voice and Body Training to develop healthy ways of creative expression.
I believe that a person can do so by connecting to his/her inner-world through keen observation, active imagination, natural movement and voice exploration. I am currently collaborating with Steven Michael, a creator of the sci-fi action drama The Omega as its cast's movement coach and action choreographer.
I am also a certified Master Artist Teacher with Minding Motion a creative movement therapy for graceful aging and people with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Dementia.
