Master’s degree in piano and pedagogy and 26 years of piano teaching experience in Russia and USA.
Number of students were graduated from my class and some of then successfully continued education in music colleges of Moscow, St. Petersburg and other.
I have broad experience in training students for auditions and performances. I emigrated to USA in 2015 and resumed piano teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually have 30 minutes interview with a new student and discuss teaching strategy to achieve best results. I am flexible and would adjust plan and schedule based on student and parents response.
I have yearly recital for all my students with parents, relatives and friends invited. I rent a nice hall with great piano for such event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from Voronezh Institute of Music, Russia
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching piano after graduation and do it for over 26 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
Children from 5 to 17 years old. Adults are also welcome.I prefer Russian language and could use for teaching any of preferable system, as A,B,S,D… or DO,RE,MI…
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a well-educated teacher who is compassionate and could see great potential in any student. Look for a person with good communication skills, person who can see not only notes and keys but soul and meaning of music.
