My instructor is excellent. He plays guitar professionally for a variety of styles and has an effective teaching manner. He is patient and encouraging, and has been adaptive to when I have a physical challenge for that needs accommodating for a few lessons.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Mr. Lewczyk for 4 years now and I would highly recommend him to anyone that would like their child to experience the joy of music.
My daughter is by no means a prodigy, but we have continued lessons with Mr. Lewczyk for so long for a number of reasons:
1. He makes it so easy. He comes to our house, I don't have to rush around getting her out the door and fight traffic. He's always on time and if I have a scheduling conflict, he's always flexible.
2. His lessons are affordable.
3. He has a gentle and unique style that doesn't put an enormous amount of pressure on my daughter, allowing her to learn at her own pace. He is always patient and encouraging.
4. I believe exposing my daughter to music, from music theory to the works of great composers, even classic rock, has an enormous benefit in my daughter's brain development. Mr. Lewczyk covers all that ground, but in a very organic, calm and patient style.
So, the proof is in the pudding; my daughter is a straight A student, she has a nice peaceful demeanor and she's told me many times that many of the songs she learns are always kind of playing in the background of her mind while she's doing homework or other activities. A couple of years ago Mr. Lewczyk arranged a holiday recital at a senior care facility for his students. While my daughter was nervous to perform, she really wanted to do it, and I could tell it really boosted her confidence afterward.
These past 4 years have been well worth it and I'm sure my daughter will look back on this time and be thankful that she had the opportunity to learn the piano while she was young. Thanks Sean!
