I have been taking lessons from Gabriel for the last 2 years and have seen huge improvements in my vocal abilities. His use of the Bel Canto method has helped me discover things about my voice that I did not know I was capable of. Gabriel always taylors each lesson to what my voice needs at any given moment and is able to adapt what we are working on based on how my voice is feeling that day or what it is capable of doing at any given moment. Not only have I learned to sing better, but he has taught me how to protect my voice by using proper techniques, breathing techniques and vocalizations.When I hear my voice from when I began lessons and now I can't believe the improvement.

If you are looking for a piano instructor for yourself or, as in my case for a child. Let me HIGHLY recommend Daniel Castro. My son is 13 and has 3 levels of the bastien method under his belt, taught to him by his father. My criteria for an instructor was that he have some jazz background along with classical, as well as pop and rock etc. In other words fully rounded. I wanted someone who could ignite give my son the fundamentals that would allow him to open his ears and heart and create. And most of all my son had to like him. Bullseye. Daniel is a multi instrumentalist who has a love for exploring music in all its forms. He too is a student always learning. In my case Daniel has used jazz and blues as the entry way. We are 3 lessons in and he has my son swinging. Which in jazz is the life blood. I listen from afar to each lesson and I can hear that Daniel is patiently and intuitively laying a foundation block by block that will provide a launch pad for my son to not only explore music as it is, but also unlock his own inner creativety through improvisation. As well as the fundamentals that will allow my son to move in whichever direction he wishes to take it should he decide to continue with music later on. I hear my son opening up on the piano now when he practices and its only lesson 3.Daniel does it in such a warm, unhurried, encouraging manner that it is almost a peer to peer relationship. Daniel is intellegient, professional, very personable and always a gentleman. And I appreciate that. Whatever discipline you or your child are pursuing, I have no doubt that Daniel Castro can instinctually provide you a personal, customized lesson plan to move you towards your destination. My highest regard.

My goal of singing well was a dream that I hadn’t realized. Instead I concentrated on my profession as an engineer. I love singing but had not connected with a teacher who demanded correct singing technique and language skills. Duba was that teacher. She was demanding, literate, and knew European classical music. I really appreciated the demands that she made on my voice tchnique and the classical songs we preformed. Her voice studio allowed me the opportunity to perform with a piano teacher in front of an audience. I really enjoyed those times. I count myself fortunate that I discovered her voice studio and that she accepted me as a student.

I could never sing my favorite songs because of the high notes. I had a hard time reaching them. So I searched for singing lessons near Irvine and found Catherine's Music Studio. I used to be so embsarrassed singing in front of people. Catherine helped me develop and drastically increased my vocal range. I had been singing the wrong way all this time! Catherine taught me the proper way to sing a high note. She helped me build confidence and overcome my fear of my singing in front of people. As an artist myself (with a musical background and YEARS of childhood music lessons from a variety of teachers), I can confirm that not every music teacher is an artist, and not every artist is a good teacher. Diane is that rare and precious combination of a stellar musician AND incredible teacher. Our Zoom fatigued 10 year old daughter can't wait to log on to her lesson each week; and she always gets a balance of solid technique, encouragement, and carefully chosen and suggested songs that she is excited to practice. Her own technique has improved more than I thought possible in a short period of time at a young age. 'Miss Diane' deserves more than five stars.

Linda Rose is a phenomenal teacher! She is very knowledgeable about the anatomy of the voice and body, and how breathing can function with maximum efficiency and minimum effort.
